01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Geovatra ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
These terms apply to all users of the platform, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.
02 Description of Service
Geovatra is an AI-powered geospatial analysis platform that enables users to perform complex GIS operations through natural language. The platform provides:
- Vector and raster geospatial analysis powered by PostGIS, GDAL, and GRASS GIS
- On-demand satellite imagery and data via Microsoft Planetary Computer
- AI-powered natural language interface for executing geospatial workflows
- Interactive map visualization powered by OpenLayers
- Hydrological modeling and terrain analysis tools
- Cloud-based project and layer management
03 User Accounts
To access the full features of Geovatra, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- Not share your account credentials with third parties
Geovatra reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
04 Acceptable Use
You agree to use Geovatra only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Upload data that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
- Use the platform to conduct illegal surveillance or tracking of individuals
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
- Use automated scripts to overload or disrupt the platform
- Resell or redistribute access to the platform without written permission
- Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
05 Your Data
You retain ownership of all geospatial data, shapefiles, rasters, and other content you upload to Geovatra. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
We do not claim ownership of your data, sell your data to third parties, or use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Your project data is stored securely and is only accessible by you and authorized members of your workspace.
06 Credits & Billing
Geovatra operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features and advanced analysis tools. Please note:
- Credits are non-refundable once consumed
- Unused credits do not expire
- We reserve the right to modify credit pricing with advance notice
- Guest users receive limited free credits upon registration
07 Intellectual Property
The Geovatra platform, including its AI models, geoprocessing engine, user interface, and all associated software, are the exclusive intellectual property of Geovatra and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the platform without our express written permission.
08 Disclaimer
Geovatra is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Analysis results will be accurate for all use cases
- Satellite data will be available for all areas and time periods
- The platform will meet all your specific requirements
Geospatial analysis results should be validated by qualified professionals before use in critical applications.
09 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geovatra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
10 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Geovatra at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of termination.
11 Changes to Terms
Geovatra reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
